Assessment This comprises an end-of-semester examination and in-semester laboratories, tests or assignments. All assessment tasks require students to apply their knowledge of the unit content to solve previously unseen problems. Credit is given for clarity and correctness of presentation as well as for actual results.Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete the course. More detail may be given in the `Unit outline'. |
