Our group reflects academic interests across related disciplines in mathematics and its applications in engineering and physical science at UWA.
We have strong interdisciplinary links and a significant advisory role on academic matters relating to teaching, research, appointments and promotions.

Activities
Our group encourages where possible:
- Informal workshops of interest to a wider range of people than would normally be addressed in a seminar, or even a colloquium, but not the whole discipline group.
- Seminars, colloquia and conferences which fall within the scope of the discipline group.
- Occasional lunches and meetings so we get to know each other.
