Bounds for Semiprimitive Permutation Groups

In my thesis I generalise a number of results about primitive groups to the broader class of semiprimitive groups. The results I'm generalising primarily concern bounds on group-theoretic quantities such as order, base size, and composition length.

Why my research is important

The class of semiprimitive groups is much larger than the relatively restricted class of primitive groups. Showing that many of the strong results about primitive groups can be extended to semiprimitive groups allows us to apply these theorems more broadly.
