The Mathematics Enrichment Classes are not-for-credit mini-courses on interesting topics in mathematics and statistics not normally covered in the BSc.
The classes are primarily intended for students with a special interest in mathematics and statistics, especially stronger MATH1002 students. Other students (including second and third year) may also find some topics interesting and are welcome to attend. There are no special prerequisites, but strong interest in mathematics and statistics, and willingness to study, will be assumed.
There will be seven mini-classes of 45 minutes in duration given at 1pm on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Blakers Lecture Theatre.
No registration is required, simply turn up to one of the classes of most interest listed on the schedule below.
